Acceptable Use Policy

Effective July 29, 2026 · Version 2026-07-29.3

This Policy is part of the Clipframe Terms of Service. It applies to all source media, links, captions, exports, account activity, and use of the Service.

Only submit content you can use

Submit only content you own or are clearly authorized to process and edit. You may not use Clipframe to infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights. Public availability of a video does not by itself give permission to download, edit, or redistribute it.

Never use Clipframe for

• Child sexual abuse material, sexual exploitation of minors, grooming, or any content that endangers children.
• Non-consensual intimate imagery, doxxing, stalking, credible threats, harassment, or hateful conduct.
• Copyright infringement, piracy, unauthorized recordings, or evasion of a source platform's download restrictions, authentication, DRM, paywalls, or other technical controls.
• Fraud, impersonation, scams, misleading claims, malware, phishing, or attempts to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data.
• Illegal activity or content that violates applicable law, sanctions, or export controls.
• Automated or excessive use that harms the Service, bypasses plan limits, probes security, or interferes with other users.

Source restrictions

Do not provide passwords, browser cookies, access tokens, or other credentials to let Clipframe access a third-party service. Do not submit private, restricted, region-blocked, or sign-in-required sources unless Clipframe explicitly supports that workflow and you are authorized to use the content.

Enforcement and reporting

We may review reports, remove or disable content, limit processing, suspend or terminate accounts, preserve information where required, and cooperate with lawful requests. Report suspected abuse to abuse@clipframe.org. Copyright reports are described on our Copyright page.

Updates

We may update this Policy as legal requirements, risks, or the Service change. Material updates will require acceptance before further processing.
